Show Me...

Sassy Cheryl's Show Me Challenge #80

Happy Sunday Bloggers.  Cheryl wants to know what we've been working on and like her, I'm glad that the graduation chaos is over.  My DS, Ethan had the time of his life and now we are down the the nitty gritty college duties.  *Sigh*  But first...DISNEY!  We leave for our family vacation next weekend and before we leave I'd like to show a portion of my Operation Write Home card lot.  I will be working like a crazy woman to get them out by Thursday.  I recently found and became a follower of OWH.  I've been studying the rules on how this project works.  I am overwhelmed at the heart and dedication the card crafting community is showing for this organization and I am excited to help out.  You can learn more about how to help our heroes by clicking HERE.   When your done visiting OWH stop by Cheryl's Show Me Thursday Challenge and show us what you've been working on this week.  After that you can visit her shop HERE.  Cheryl has the most gorgeous digital stamps that will fit any project you are working on.  Her art speaks for itself.  Happy Sunday and Happy Crafting!

Free Digi

The Best Dad Ever

Happy Weekend Bloggers.  I hope everyone is having a lovely, crafty weekend.  I wanted to share my latest creations with you and give you a fun freebie for the 4th of July.  The freebie is available for a limited time before it shoots back into the shop.

My new digi is inspired by my dad.  He loves trains and passed that love down to my brother and the grandchildren.  When creating a card I normally sketch a surprise digi for the recipient but dad had me stumped.  When visiting a few weeks ago dad mentioned that he used to have a model train set years ago.  BINGO!  I got right to work sketching the
 "R.B.G. Express."

This card is on it's way to N.J. it's for the best dad ever.  The photo on the inside is my brother Bob, sister Donna, Dad and me.  It was taken in 2007 by our mom who sadly, has since passed away.   Bob, Donna and I are not small.  Each one of us is over 6 feet tall and mom had a small couch.  We were trying to fit on the couch and not squash dad as mom ordered us to "squish" closer together so she could fit us in the frame.  Our smiles were from laughing at mom for being so bossy.
It was a good day. <3

I hope this inspires you to create, get crafty and make happy memories.  Scroll to the bottom for your freebie.  Happy Crafting! <3 -Kim

The R.B.G. Express can be found in my Etsy Shop

Your Freebie is perfect for the 4th of July or for OWH.  Available for a limited time only.  Please leave a comment and follow for updates.  Enjoy! <3 -Kim

Surf's Up!

It's Friday and time for another Totally Papercrafts Challenge.  This week I am honored to play hostess for this wonderful Challenge and I have chosen the theme:
It's Raining Cats & Dogs!
Your project must have something to do with the rain, contain a cat or dog or all three.  Grab your ideas and join us at TPC for some fun and a chance to win an awesome prize.  This week our sponsor is Wild Rose Studio and the winner receives 2 stamps of choice.

This card is staying in Myrtle Beach.  It's for the Duclos family, the previous owners of our sweet Dachshund "Kona."  The Duclos family are the most wonderful people.  We know this because of how loving, gentle and kind Kona is.  They have done a wonderful job raising Kona and we want to keep in touch by sending updates and photos of Kona.

I hope everyone has a happy crafty weekend.  Pick a pet, umbrella or both and head on over to Totally Papercrafts to join this weeks challenge.  Our Design Team has some lovely inspiration cards to get you motivated!  Happy Crafting <3 -Kim

Congratulations Cody!

Happy Friday!  Back again for another Totally Papercrafts Challenge.  Our hostess this week is Cathy and she has chosen the theme "Doodle on It."  Stop by and see the talented Design Teams inspiration cards and then join in the fun and doodle one up for a prize.  This weeks sponsor is Delicious Doodles and they are giving away four free digis to one lucky winner!

This card is making it's way to North Carolina and will end up in the hands of my nephew Cody.  Cody graduates High School this weekend and has started playing the guitar so this image seemed fitting.  I made a gate fold card and cut out some indie art on my Cricut.  I doodled up the die cuts with my Martha Stewart writing marker.  On the inside I added a few whirligigs on the sentiment.  Have a wonderful weekend and Happy Crafting!

New Digi and a freebie!

Helloooooo Blogland.  I'm so very sorry for not posting last week.  My schedule is crazy and currently filled with one graduation after another requiring travel.   I needed to design a graduation card for my nephew Cody who loves to play the guitar so I decided to sketch this digi for it.  I used one of my favorite musicians as inspiration for this one.  I've also whipped up a star studded freebie for you this week.  Enjoy and Happy crafting! <3 -Kim

Congratulations Ethan!

Happy Friday Blogland.  It's time for another Totally Papercrafts Challenge.  This week our hostess with the mostest is Linda of Turtle in the Sand.  Linda is a wonderful artist and personal friend of mine.  Stop by her blog and check out her amazing cards then leave her some lovely comments.  This week Linda has us making a creation/card with more than one fold.  I found a splendid tutorial on Splitcoast Stampers and I had to make my own!  AJ Otto posted the Accordion file folder tutorial in 2009.  You may have already seen this but I'm fairly new and just found it.
This "Passport" is for my oldest son Ethan.  He turned 18 years old last week and is graduating from high school tonight.  A lot going on in his world right now so I wanted to make him a keepsake of advice from the family and things he has and will continue to learn over the years.  I did not include the sentiments and my mom "blah, blah, blah" in the photos.  But each tag has writing and sentiments for him.  Our sponsor this week is Simon Says Stamp.  You could win a $25.00 gift voucher to their store just for entering your creation!
Stop by Totally Papercrafts and visit my wonderful DT teamies creations for more awesome inspiration and join us at this weeks challenge!
Enjoy your weekend and Happy Crafting!
