Breast Cancer Awareness and Link Up for Pink

Hi Crafty Bloggers!  Middle of the week and Friday's in sight.  I hope everyone is happy, healthy and having fun.  There is a new and very important digi in my shop:
I designed this for breast cancer awareness and it's called "Battle Ready."
I am donating all 2012 profits from the sales of this stamp to the American Cancer Society.
I am also sponsoring Link Up for Pink so please stop by their page and get ready for the Linking Party the first two weeks in October.

Many of us have family or friends with this terrible disease.  Our prayers and support to those afflicted is paramount.  This digi is available now for your awareness projects.  Hugs and Happy Crafting.  <3-Kim

Free Digi and New in the Shop

Hello my dear blog friends.  There is so much to fill you in on.  I'm sorry for not posting as much lately.  I have been, and continue to, train for a 1/2 marathon in Virginia Beach the first week of October.  Dividing time between the IRL job, family and my training schedule, time has gone from some to none.  I've run in a few 5k's (3.1 miles) but this is my first attempt at a 1/2.  Just to let you know:
I've never run 13.1 miles on purpose.  All at once.

*sheepish grin*
I certainly won't be setting any records for speed.
My goal is getting to the finish and I'm focused on one mile at a time :)  I'm running with my awesome sister-in-law Chris and it will be a fantastic event.  I'll keep you posted on that.
Next month is Breast Cancer Awareness month and I am sponsoring
They are hosting a linking party October 1 through 14.  Create something pink, link up and earn a chance to win some fabulous prizes.  I will have more on that this weekend.  Stop over and check it out.
On to the digis!  My running buddy and super fantastic SIL Chris is having a birthday this weekend.  I sketched this out from a photo I shot at La Belle Amie vineyard in Little River.  I'm in the process of making her card with it.  Chris is a tropical kind of gal so the Hibiscus were perfect.

Here is one of my inspiration photos used for this sketch

Your free digi today is Love Kitty's Jug.  Enjoy.

New Digi and a Card for Tim

Hey all!  It's been a while but I'm still here.  I've been a busy gal since the start of the school year.  I'm starting to catch up and I hope to get a few posts published this week including a free digi so keep checking back.  I hope everyone is well and fine and life is bringing you good things.  I've been spending a bit of time blog hopping.  I've never actually participated in a hop before and I have to say, I've met some of the most wonderful, caring and downright talented people the last two days.  It's been fun and best of all the hop I'm following is for a great cause.  It's called
Please check it out and help a fellow crafter and meet some amazing people :)
Today, I'd like to introduce you to a very special canine friend.
Bloggers, meet Reagan:
Reagan is a German Shepard Dog who owns my sister Donna and her dear husband Tim.  Reagan is quite a presence in their household.  She alone has thinned out Donna's shoe supply, rearranged bedding to suit her doggie needs and is quite an escape artist.  She just LOVES to have fun and be goofy.  Although her antics sometimes cause chaos, Reagan is loved and brings much joy to Tim.  He and Reagan have a special bond.
Tim has spent the last few years in a battle with cancer and has kicked its butt!  He is super positive and has a very strong faith.  This week he goes in for blood work and a heart cath to prepare for heart surgery.  Chemotherapy damaged a heart valve and it needs repair so we are saying prayers and sending support.  He is a very special person and we love him very much.
Here's Tim's finished card.  Hugs and Happy Crafting! <3 -Kim
Inside detail

Every minute of every day, Tim lives life to the fullest.
The sentiment I chose fits him to a "T."
Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers this week.
Have a wonderful holiday everyone.
The real Reagan in all her glory.
Tim with Reagan and her big sister Hope
